Twice Over slashed in Epsom Derby betting

Henry Cecil's Twice Over was slashed to 5-1 second favourite in the Epsom Derby betting with Bet365 Online Bookmaker after scoring a gutsy, staying-on, short-head victory in Newmarket's Craven Stakes.

Twice Over is also now second favourite for the 2,000 Guineas but it is possible he will skip the Guineas and go instead to York's Dante Stakes, a traditional Epsom Derby betting trial.

He narrowly defeated Raven's Pass in the Craven. The latter will not go for the mile-and-a-half Epsom Derby and instead takes his chance in the 2,000 Guineas over a mile.

Connections of Twice Over were mulling over options of taking in the two furlong-shorter French Derby rather than the Epsom Derby.
